Rich Leclerc, President of Gateway Healthcare the parent company of Capital City Community Centers.Gateway offers an array of behavioral health and substance abuse/misuse services for children, adults, and families, including emergency and crisis intervention services; residential programs for adults and children; supported housing; vocational services; daycare and after-school programs; services for children with autism and their families; and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Gateway has numerous locations throughout Rhode Island
Mr. Leclerc is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). He has chaired the Governor’s Council on Behavioral Health since 2002. He serves as chair of the Audit Committee for the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare and is Vice Chair of the Public Policy Committee. Richard is a director and officer of the RI Council of Community Mental Health Organizations; member of the board of directors of the Pawtucket Credit Union, Pawtucket Foundation; and is a director and officer of the Rhode Island Quality Institute.
Mr. Leclerc’s educational background includes a BA from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., Masters of Science in Foreign Science/International Business and Economics from Georgetown University, and a Masters in Social Work, Summa Cum Laude, from Boston College, Graduate School of Social Work. He also completed an advanced professional program at the New York University Graduate School of Business.
